With September comes the cooler temperatures, the start of school, and the changing of the leaves…but forget all that! The best part of the fall is that TV is back in full force! There’s a lot of new shows premiering but the ones below look like the best ones to watch. What’s on your fall viewing list?
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Sept. 24th at 8PM EST, ABC: Any time Joss Whedon develops something for the TV, I’m watching and a show based on a Marvel comic, is no exception. The show is about a group crime fighting super secret agents.
Hostages, Sept. 23rd at 9PM EST, CBS: Building a show around a hostage situation seems hard, so I’m interested to see how this show will develop over the course of a full season. Toni Collette stars in it as well, and she deserves another show after the short-lived United States of Tara.
The Originals, Oct. 15th at 8PM EST, CW: It’s a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries with Klaus as the main character who moves to New Orleans to take down his old protege. Everyone should be watching.
The Crazy Ones, Sept. 26th at 9PM EST, CBS: My 90’s born self makes me watch anything that includes two of the 90s greats, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams, as a father and daughter team trying to make it in the world of advertising.
Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, Oct. 10th at 8PM EST, ABC: Another spin-off show! From the creators of Once Upon a Time, this show further develops the story of Alice in Wonderland.
Brooklyn Nine Nine, Sept. 17th at 8PM EST, Fox: This could be a hit-or-miss in a major way but now that Andy Samberg is no longer on SNL, I’m willing to give any show with him a chance even if his believability as a cop is zero.
Sleepy Hollow, Sept. 16th at 9PM EST, Fox: This show reinvents Sleepy Hollow for the modern audience by bringing Ichabod to the present day.
Masters of Sex, Sept. 29 at 10PM EST, Showtime: This show is based on two real life doctors who revolutionized the way we think about sex.
Reign, Oct. 17th at 9PM EST, CW: Trust it to the CW to make a Gossip Girl meets The Tudors show focusing on the life of Mary, Queen of Scots.
