Remember back when we told you about that blog, Forty Days of Dating? It has since gone completely viral and even Hollywood is itching to turn the tale into a movie or TV show. To recap for the newbs out there — two friends, Tim Goodman and Jessica Walsh, found themselves single at the same time and decided to date each other for 40 days as an experiment to learn more about their dating habits. They wrote a blog post documenting each day of the experience and posted it online for prying eyes to enjoy. And guess what? Today is D-Day. Day 40. The end of the experiment.
And while we await their last post to go live I had to stop in the middle of that sentence because I refreshed the site, Day 40 was posted and I just spent 7 minutes reading it over and over. I’m not really sure what happened. As of yesterday, it looked like these homies were going to call it quits on their relationship (fauxlationship?), but now the last word Tim says is “I know I’m in love with her.” SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? I need closure.
While I go back and try to figure out what the hell all this means, The Frisky has a great post (because they’ve been addicted to this crazy tale, too) on the 40 love lessons they’ve learned from 40 Days of Dating. But really — let me know if you can figure out what happened at the end here. Are they done?
