7 Autumn Date Ideas That Aren’t Super Corny

Whelp! Summer is over. No more tan lines, and the smell of charred hot dogs is growing faint already… last Sunday marked the first day of autumn and it’s time to dust off your boots and pull your jacket from the back of your closet.
The close of summer doesn’t necessarily mean those summer flings have to end. Our friends at The Frisky explored seven date options that can keep things exciting without being cliche. Let’s skip the hay rides because face it — it’s really hard to be cute and flirty if you’re getting pricked the entire time.
Instead of the usual apple picking and camping dates, The Frisky provided affordable autumn alternatives. Take a trip to your local farmer’s market and spend time with your sweetie the old-fashioned way. I am no self-proclaimed Rachel Ray, but I have been trying to expand my recipes as of late. This would be a nice time to play around in the kitchen and whip up something the both of you love. It may even be a more cost efficient option because neither of you would have to worry about the bill at the end of the night.
As a substitute for watching a football game you could care less about (kudos to you ladies that are into sports), take a class together. I’ve always thought a boxing class would make a fun date. It’s enough not to emasculate him and just enough to help you channel your inner badass.
What would be your idea of an autumn alternative date?
