Say hello to entertainment’s newest bizarre, “anything goes” awards show. Last night, the YouTube Music Awards debuted and from the moment hosts Jason Schwartzman and Reggie Watts stepped on stage, you knew you things were going to get real weird, real fast. Forgoing a script in favor of off-the-cuff hijinks, Schwartzman and Watts let the night unfold naturally, allowing for some priceless performances and WTF celebrity cameos from Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire’s Win Butler, and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Did you sit in front of your laptop last night to stream the awards? While I appreciate the fact that YouTube wants to embrace music and spontaneity — two things that go hand in hand on the site that discovered Justin Bieber and screaming goats — the format was definitely a risky move.

So who were the big winners of the night? Who hopped on stage and dared to interrupt Taylor Swift’s fans when they were accepting her award (a la Kanye)? Who tried to give Macklemore a screaming baby?

Here’s a stream of the YouTube Music Awards that you can watch, fast forward and rewind until you get enough of Gaga in that weird outfit.
