Seeing celebrities do normal things is like watching a dog walk on its hind legs. While I can’t help but roll my eyes at the thought of how many actors and pop stars never even finish high school, I can’t blame them for not seeking out education. You are already successful in your career, which was school is supposed help you with (although we know it doesn’t even do that anymore) so why bother? You’re a famous face so you’re bound to be treated differently not just by your peers but by teachers as well? You could be dismissed as dumb, have higher expectations placed on you, or constantly cause a scene just by being around. I have a special level of respect for celebrities who go back to school to enlighten and educate themselves despite how strange it may feel to be ogled by us normals. The truth is, we may think we’re capable of treating celebrities like they’re normal but you never know how you’re going to react. When Emma Watson was first looking at schools I saw her in the lobby of NYU-Gallatin while I was waiting for class to start. I am not a fan of Emma or Harry Potter, yet my gaze could have burned a whole through her forehead. She looked right at meet, looking at her. She never did attend NYU.
Here are the seven celebrities in college right now that I think would make for some seriously cool liquid brunch buddies.
