I am against reading the book and seeing the movie because I am not mentally stable enough to deal with the inevitable SEA OF EMOTIONS. All of the cheesy quotes that drip with pretension and faux-sincerity make me cringe and yet I know I am not above it! Nope. I will roll my eyes so hard that TEARS will pour out of them. And everyone else in the theater will be CRYING, BAWLING and we will increase our carbon footprints with all those tissues and it just sounds like too much. My heart cockles have not been primed with the many Nicholas Sparks movies, I’ve never seen A Walk To Remember, these things are still new to me and so I know my infinity will be infinite tears as I am sobbing out of the AMC Theater and putting cigarettes in my mouth like I’m some kind of metaphor.
