Kim Kardashian IRL vs. "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood": Who Wore It Best?

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood is a game app where you go from an L.A. nobody to an A-list celebrity using Kim Kardashian’s strategy of schmoozing her way to the top with a bit of savvy and fabulous outfits.
The game is vapid at its core but are we really going to pretend like this is any worse than the stupefying Candy Crush which only serves to satiate our need to be mindlessly distracted by pretty colors and flashy, moving things or Call of Duty which makes violence as cavalier as your morning latte?
At least Kim K.: Hollywood offers some insight into the mind of a media mogul who made work out of looking lazy or into how much interpersonal relationships, appearances and manipulation go into sustaining fame. Kim K.: Hollywood is said to bank $200 million this year and that’s because it’s as good as any other game: it’s addictive, frustrating and fun.
My favorite part of Kim K.: Hollywood probably comes as no surprise because it is the outfits. I think it speaks to the cunning of the app creators and Kim K. West that they were thoughtful enough to replicate her real life ensembles into the game.
It’s a way of playing to the users’ fandom because they are able to recognize the clothes from candid strolls with Kanye or red carpet events but it also makes some of her notable fashion choices seem more iconic than they actually were at the time. Now that is great marketing.
The most important question the game poses amidst all of its musings on celebrity culture is: which Kim wore it better? The animated Kim K. or the Kim K. in the flesh?
