Remake 1983’s National Lampoon’s Vacation? It sounds like a terrible idea. The movie isn’t just well-loved for nostalgia…it’s still laugh out loud funny all these years later. But, since no idea is original anymore, it’s happening. And from the look of the trailer, it actually looks pretty great. Like the remake and sequel to 21 Jump Street with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, it pokes fun at itself. There are cameos from Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo, and the obvious reference in the line, “I’ve never even heard of the original vacation,” met with the response, “Doesn’t matter. The new vacation will stand on its own.”
OH AND CHRIS HEMSWORTH IS IN HIS UNDERWEAR.
