Watermelon is basically the staple food of the summer. It’s sweet, it’s refreshing, it’s healthy, it;s surprisingly filling and it keeps you super hydrated.

If the amazingly delicious sweetness of watermelon gets a bit old, try throwing some different flavors into the mix. Add a pinch of salt, a generous squeeze of lemon juice and some cayenne pepper to taste to your watermelon, toss it all and enjoy the hell out of it. Add some pineapple chunks and honeydew for a seriously delicious summer fruit salad.
