Looks like Zayn Malik is not being shy about sharing his feelings on One Direction. The 22-year-old just signed a record deal with RCA, and included a nice little burn at his former boy band in his announcement.

So much for that statement when he left the band…
I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.
Directioners – pick a side. Apparently there isn’t room in this world for both solo artist Zayn and 1D.
