So, how much is this celebrity really worth?
Kim Kardashian Net Worth As Of 2017: $51 Million
Here’s how Kim K made it to the millions.
In 2003, Kim started dating R&B singer/rapper Ray J. However, it wasn’t until 2007 when she first gained her “fame” after a sex tape filmed of her and Ray J from 2003 was released throughout the Internet by Vivid Entertainment. Kim would eventually drop the lawsuit for $5 million.
In October 2007, her hit reality series channeling the life of her family, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, premiered on E!. To date, the show has had 11 seasons, 152 episodes, and 6 spin-off series. At the start of the series, Kim would only earn around $15,000 per episode. However, her pay eventually increased to $150,000 an episode.
Throughout 2008 and 2009, Kim made several different appearances in movies and TV shows, including Disaster Movie, Dancing With The Stars, How I Met Your Mother, Beyond The Break, and America’s Next Top Model.

However, Kim was thrown once again into the drama spotlight in 2011. First came her doomed marriage to Kris Humphries in August, which only lasted 72 days. Kim filed for divorce from Humphries on October 31, citing irreconcilable differences. Secondly, Kim filed a $20 million lawsuit against Old Navy and its parent company, Gap Inc., for right of publicity.
In 2012, Kim and her sisters were named in a $5 million class action lawsuit against QuickTrim, a weight loss supplement they endorsed. Despite the lawsuit, E! renewed Keeping Up with the Kardashians for two additional seasons, in a deal reported to be worth $50 million.
In April 2012, Kim began her highly publicized and profitable relationship with Kanye West, even though she was still legally married to Kris Humphries. In December of 2012, Kim and Kanye announced Kim was pregnant with the couple’s first child.
Kim’s divorce to Kris Humphries was finalized with an undisclosed divorce settlement in order to avoid a trial on June 3, 2013. Twelve days later, Kim gave birth to her daughter, North West. In October 2013, Kim and Kanye became engaged and wed on May 24, 2014.
