With new apps and websites being developed every day, it’s no surprise that random people are getting famous just by having an online personality. But with the good comes the bad, and parents are constantly cautioning their children to be careful when it comes to the strangers of the Internet.
Jacob Sartorius is one of the many teens who found instant stardom online, and he’s now being slammed for his use of social media. The 13-year-old Vine star took to Facebook recently to ask a fan for nude photos. And now the messages are going viral.
Fans have since taken to Twitter to call out the young star for his wrongdoing.
However, this is not the first time the conversation was posted to social media. The girl who originally received the messages posted them to her Twitter page back in March. Not only did she post the screenshots of the conversation, but she also revealed a video of the conversation.
Sartorius has yet to comment on the flood of risky messages, but has remained active on his social media accounts. Considering he recently released his first single, “Sweatshirt,” about a girl who is not quite ready for his kiss, this scenario is highly ironic and even more creepy than we thought.
