Kanye West has once again pulled a Kanye. At a recent concert in Seattle, the rapper called out Jay Z at three different points in his show. He interrupted his set list to rant about how “there will never be a Watch the Throne 2” or collaboration between him and Jay Z. He also said that his verse on Drake‘s song, “Pop Style” was cut because of the drama between Apple and TIDAL. West relayed to concert-goers, “That’s the reason I wasn’t on this song, I wasn’t on the song ’cause of Hov. ‘Cause of some TIDAL/Apple bulls**t.” Check out part of the rant below.
It seems like West was really pushed even further over the edge with his beef with Jay Z after his wife, Kim Kardashian West, was recently robbed in Paris. West related, “Don’t call me after the robbery, and say ‘How you feelin?’ You wanna know how I’m feeling? Come by the house.”
West may go off on many rants but we think there’s something to what he’s saying here. We can understand West’s frustrations over the situation and his anger at how lazy Jay Z’s reaction to the incident seemed to be. Even the TIDAL/Apple drama seems kind of petty. West and Jay Z have been close for years so Jay Z’s reactions to both the TIDAL/Apple drama and Kim’s robbery are surprising. Although, Jay Z hasn’t spoken out so we don’t exactly know the full story here. As of right now, we’re taking West’s side on this.
