Like most of the Victoria’s Secret angels, Adriana Lima is a mere perfect specimen. Her body is sick, her face is angelic, and she apparently has the willpower we will never have. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail, Lima revealed what she does to prepare for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. So what’s her secret? She doesn’t diet.

Unfair
Lima is currently prepping to walk in her 16th Victoria’s Secret fashion show and claims that she doesn’t diet right beforehand — she’s just always ready to walk the catwalk.

“I change the food, but not my diet,” the 35-year-old supermodel explained. “I like to eat balanced and healthy because I am a mom, and I like to be an example for my children. I’m always ready. I don’t change really anything. I haven’t changed anything since last year — I promise that.”

So what does the Brazilian model do to keep in shape? She’s an avid boxer and calls Muhammad Ali and Manny Pacquiao her fitness inspirations.

“I look to the boxers. You know, every athlete, I really get inspired by them because I understand how much work and discipline they put into it. Because you have to hit the gym every day and train for so many hours, and then nutrition, and everything,” she said. “You have to be really strong in your mind to put that much work into your life.”

She also makes an effort to work her entire body through shadowboxing and jumping robe. This year, she says she focused a lot of fitness energy on her abs, legs and butt. However, she does like to indulge every once in a while, particularly in hot chocolate, croissants and pizza. So at least there’s that. AT LEAST WE HAVE THAT.

The model also says that when it comes to fitness routines, doing something is always better than nothing.

“You can do burpees wherever you go. You can do squats. You can do shadowboxing in your bathroom — anywhere really,” she said, before adding that pushups are another great option for on-the-go fitness. “You can run outside, even of it is for 10 minutes. As long as you do something and break a sweat. It is better than nothing.”

Cool, so running to the wine store must count then. Count me in as fit AF!
