2010 – 2013
When Hailee was 13, she beat out 15,000 other girls to play Mattie Ross in True Grit, which was well received by audiences. The role earned her an Oscar nomination for her role. Although she didn’t win, at the rate she’s going, she’s bound to earn that honor eventually. Soon after her Oscar nod, she became the face of Miu Miu.
From 2011 to 2013, she was cast in several roles, including parts as Juliet Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Violet in Begin Again and Petra Arkanian in Ender’s Game.
