If you would have told me that the only couple from Bachelor in Paradise 3 to survive into the new year would be Evan Bass and Carly Waddell, I would have slapped you in the face. Still, news that Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton have split isn’t exactly shocking.
An insider told E! News that Josh (AKA the pizza-loving jerk who was previously engaged to Bachelorette Andi Dorfman, who had some unflattering things to say about him after they called of their engagement) and Amanda (the mom of two who competed for Ben Higgins’ heart) have split due to his “temper.”
“This split seems more serious than past fights,” the source said.
Neither Josh or Amanda have confirmed the breakup news.
Although Amanda just posted a pic of her and Josh on Instagram two weeks ago, the lack of gross couple photos is a good sign that they’re not seeing each other at the moment. Both parties are guilty of shoving their romance down everyone’s throat via social media.
However, just two days ago, Josh posted a photo with one of Amanda’s two daughters.
“I will always love this precious little angel,” he captioned the snap.
The duo follow in the footsteps of Grant and Lace, who also got engaged at the end of Bachelor in Paradise this summer only to call it quits a few months later. (And that’s why you don’t get tattoos with your couple name — and it could be way worse than “Grace.”)
Let’s hope Nick Viall has more luck next season!
