Nick Viall may be known to have a lot of red roses, but how much dough does he have?
The 21st season of The Bachelor kicked off on Monday, January 2, 2017. This is Viall’s fourth shot at love, as he famously competed twice on The Bachelorette, making it to the top two both times but wasn’t chosen. Before he became the leading man, he also competed on Bachelor In Paradise. Nick hasn’t always been a fan favorite, as he notoriously discussed intimate details of his relationship with the previous contestants and hasn’t always gotten along well with other castmembers.
Nick Viall’s Net Worth as of 2017: $250,000
Let’s see how Nick Viall got his roses and his cash.
2003 – 2013
Before Viall joined the reality TV world, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in business administration. Though originally from Wisconsin, he soon moved to Chicago, Illinois. He was then a software sales executive for SalesForce and he reportedly saved up $150,000 in his account from his job.
The world first met Nick Viall on the 10th season of The Bachelorette, where he finished in second place. Contestants allegedly earn around $100 a day so winners have the potential to earn $6,300.
Viall was notorious for pissing a lot of people off when he re-appeared on the 11th season of The Bachelorette and made a lot of people think he was undeserving of being there as he already had his shot on the 10th season. It didn’t help that he showed up late in the season and was greeted with open arms by the season’s leading lady, Kaitlyn Bristowe, who had already begun talking to Viall prior to the show.
During Nick Viall’s time on Bachelor In Paradise, he was paid between $7,000 to $15,000. This isn’t including any appearance or booking fees he may have collected from PR events and any sponsorships.
Being in the digital age must also help up his game, as Viall currently has 795k followers on Instagram and doesn’t shy away from sponsored posts or modeling shots. He has collaborated with several brands, from Dyson to Bodaskins to Mudlove.
Now that Viall has moved from potential suitor to the official leading man of The Bachelor, he has plenty opportunity to earn more. His predecessors have earned between five to six figures, though the earnings vary from person to person. The standard amount is $100,000. My guess is that Nick Viall will be earning a decent amount. Though he’s controversial, whether you love him or hate him, he gives people something to talk about.
If he gathers enough attention this season, he could very well land advertisement deals and more reality TV opportunities. If he ends up marrying the woman he chooses, they could very well earn millions for televising the event. If he’s still short on cash, he could always join Dancing With the Stars.
