‘The Bachelor’ Premiered Last Night & We Already Know Who Gets That Final Rose

The Bachelor Winner 2017

ABC

Last night we rang in 2017 right: with the season 21 premiere of The Bachelor. For the fourth time on network television, Nick Viall is looking for love and trying to redeem himself from the a**hole label he was given by fans in years past. And honestly, he’s off to a good start.

In last night’s two hour episode, we learned who the villains of the season will be (Corinne and Liz), who the crazies are (Alexis and Josephine), and who’s way too good to be on this show but will stick around for longer than expected (Rachel), but thanks to Reality Steve, we also learned who wins Nick Viall’s heart at the end of the season.

Before we continue, we must say: WARNING! THERE ARE MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD! IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW WHO GETS THE FINAL ROSE, TURN BACK BEFORE THE NICK VIALL GIFS END!

You’ve made it past the GIFs! Which means you’re ready to find out who stole Nick Viall’s heart and won the final rose. Without further ado, the winner of season 21 of The Bachelor is… Vanessa Grimaldi!

Since we’re guessing you were more preoccupied with the Shark Girl than any other contestant shown last night, we’re going to reintroduce you to the reported winner. The 29-year-old is from Montreal, Canada, and works as a Special Education teacher. She’s also dabbled in acting and appeared on YouTube’s Gameloft podcast five years prior to her Bachelor appearance. She has virtually no social media presence, aside from a Twitter account that hasn’t been used since 2013.

Reality Steve also reported that the four final contestants will be Rachel Lindsay, Raven Gates, Vanessa Grimaldi, and Corinne Olympios.

Regardless, we’ll still be watching to see how their love story unfolds. What did you think about last night’s episode? Sound off in the comments below.
