Bad dog!

A pal of Malia Obama’s was just visiting the White House for a hang out — you know, typical teenager stuff — when the first family’s pup Sunny Obama bit her in the face.

According to TMZ, the female Portuguese Water Dog left a gash under the visitor’s right eye when she bent down to kiss and pet the pup. They report the Obamas’ family physician decided she needed stitches, which may leave a small scar.

Malia’s pal documented the incident on Snapchat, and the photos were obtained by the Daily Mail

“Malia thinks it’s funny,” the girl captioned one of her photos, and used the White House filter on another.

The Obamas have two Portuguese Water Dogs, Sunny and an older male named Bo.

This isn’t Sunny’s first time to the doghouse (dad joke, but I couldn’t help myself). Three years ago, she knocked over a 2-year-old girl who was attending a Christmas party for military families at the White House. Oops…

Malia is currently taking a gap year before attending Harvard next fall.
