As a communications major living right next to the Big Apple, I became what you’d call a serial intern. My goal was to get as much “real world” experience as possible before graduating, especially since every entry level job these days requires about 20 years of experience. TBH, I wanted my resume to be as long as the line to get into Shake Shack during lunchtime, and ~hair flip~ I accomplished that.
Throughout my internships at MTV, Cosmopolitan and InStyle ~hair flip X2~ I picked up a few tips and tricks that’ll help take you from serial intern status to full-time employee in no time. You’re welcome.
