Tonight CBS welcomes Katherine Heigl back to television drama as she stars in the new series Doubt. Heigl is joined by Dulé Hill (Psych), Steven Pasquale (Rescue Me), Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black) and Elliott Gould (M*A*S*H) in this unconventional twist on the classic legal dramas. Taking place in New York City, Heigl plays a lawyer named Sadie Ellis, who winds up falling in love with a client who is accused of murder. She keeps her budding romance a secret from her co-workers, who include her close friend Albert Cobb (Hill) and transgender lawyer Cameron Wirth (Cox).

So step aside Law and Order, a new legal series is starting and this one is making history. Doubt is the first American broadcast television series to have a transgender actress as a regular character. Don’t miss your chance to watch television history in the making.
