Today is International Women’s Day, a day celebrating the social, economical, cultural and political achievements of women worldwide. This year, the holiday falls on the “A Day Without a Woman,” a strike organized by the people behind the historical Women’s March. According to organizers, the goal of the strike is to recognize “the enormous value that women of all backgrounds add to our socio-economic system—while receiving lower wages and experiencing greater inequities, vulnerability to discrimination, sexual harassment, and job insecurity.”

Regardless of whether or not you’re partaking in the strike, celebrate March 8th with the best, most inspirational feminist quotes below. Stand together, stay united, and always keep fighting.
