The Handmaid’s Tale is now over for the moment and the finale has a lot of fans begging for more. Even though the show’s producer didn’t want it to, the show ended on one of the worst cliffhangers EVER. The show is a little bit disturbing (and extremely relevant), with some saying they can’t watch it alone, but no matter how you feel, we’re all hoping for another season soon!
The Handmaid’s Tale Season 1, Episode 10 Recap
There is so much that needs to be figured out. We need to see what’s going on with Warren after his hand was cut off. How much do you want to bet Nick wanted to get Warren off the hook easy because he was getting a little extra something on the side as well? The biggest surprise was Moira’s freedom! If this show is any implication of the future of America… move to Canada now. Don’t ask questions just get you stuff and move. The cliffhanger was the best part. We saw June holding her head high as she got into a black van. As the van drove away, Tom Petty’s “American Girl” played. What kind of ending was this?
When Does The Handmaid’s Tale Come Back?
There is no official release date for the next season except for the year. The next season should be out in 2018. The second season was green-lit by Hulu and the producer and the book’s author have already been working on episodes together. It will stray from the book’s original plot. The first season premiered in April of 2017, so we can expect a premiere date a year from then as a possibility.
