When Does ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Return?

It’s no secret that the fourth season of Bachelor In Paradise has been rough, to say the least.

In case you’re living under a rock and/or not paying attention to the Bachelor nation (can’t blame you, it’s a lot), the reality show was suspended due to allegations of sexual assault. There were some questions about the ability to consent and two cast members crossing the line, causing a producer to become uncomfortable. Eventually the network carried out its own investigation and said that it had found no wrongdoing on anyone’s part, resuming the season with new rules.

The trailer for the new season premiered during last night’s episode of The Bachelorette.

It begins with some very dramatic allusions to the possible cancellation, including dramatic music and fan reactions. The trailer becomes brighter when it’s announced that the show is back. TBH, without context, it doesn’t seem out of the ordinary, but knowing the allegations it becomes a bit eerie and it just feels icky and insensitive.

The show’s official Twitter and Instagram featured their own announcements as well.

Fans agreed that the trailer was a bit unsettling.

And there were more than a few critiques of the network.

When does the controversial season return? Will the network handle the episodes differently? Here’s what you need to know.
