Here’s Your First Look At The Fall 2017 TV Season

As summer is sadly coming to an end, we can all look forward to one thing: new TV shows coming to your small screen this fall! There are plenty of upcoming shows that will be airing on television this fall. There is definitely a new show for everyone. From ABC to CBS to The CW and more, we will have our fair share of comedy and drama.

Here are five of our recommendations for new watching material. Which one will be your new fave?


1. The Mayor

Courtney Rose (Brandon Michael Hall), is a young rapper who has spent the last few years creating music in the closet of his bedroom in a small inner-city apartment. He has been waiting for the opportunity to make his big break in the music industry but has had no luck so he decides to try something new. He pulls a huge publicity stunt – running for mayor of his hometown in California to generate some buzz and draw attention to his music. However, things don’t always go as planned and he ends up actually becoming mayor.

The series stars Brandon Michael Hall as Courtney Rose, Lea Michele as Valentina, Bernard David Jones as Jermaine Hardaway, Marcel Spears as TK and Yvette Nicole Brown as Dina.

Tune into ABC every Tuesday night at 9:30 P.M. to catch a new episode of The Mayor starting this fall.


2. Alex, Inc.

“Alex Inc.” Cast

Zach Braff (Scrubs) is returning to the small screen to star as Alex Schuman in ABC’s new show Alex, Inc. Inspired by the podcast StartUp, Alex Schuman is an impressive radio journalist, husband and father of two who decides to do something absolutely crazy. He quits his job unexpectedly to start up his own company.

Keep an eye out for this crazy TV show this fall on ABC.


3. Dynasty

“Dynasty” Pilot Episode

The CW Network is set to reboot the ’80s hit primetime soap opera Dynasty this upcoming fall. The dramatic reboot is set in motion by Fallon Carrington’s (Elizabeth Gillies, Victorious) unfavorable reaction to her billionaire father Blake’s (Grant Show, Melrose Place) surprise to the family with a new bride-to-be. His new fiancee, the company’s PR genius, Cristal Flores is played by Nathalie Kelleye of Vampire Diaries. 

The show will take a modern twist on the previous hit soap opera. The show will premiere Wednesday, October 11. Be sure to tune into the CW every Wednesday night at 9:00 P.M. this fall.


4. The Good Doctor 

“The Good Doctor”

This is another ABC drama that will be premiering this fall, airing every Monday night at 10:00 P.M. Based on the Korean show HouseThe Good Doctor stars Freddie Highmore of Bates Motel as Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome. He joins the surgical unit of a prestigious hospital where he has to prove he is more than capable of working on patients despite the skepticism of his colleagues.

Tune in every Monday night this fall to watch this drama unfold on ABC.


5. The Gospel of Kevin 

“The Gospel of Kevin”

Created by Agent Carter’Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters, The Gospel of Kevin stars Jason Ritter as a rootless, self-centered man who comes in contact with his guardian angel, Yvette. His mission? To save the world. This gives Kevin a new purpose in life, helping people.

The Gospel of Kevin will air every Tuesday night at 10:00 P.M. on ABC this fall. You sure won’t want to miss watching this new drama.
