Disney Princess Movies Are Coming Back To The Big Screen To Bring Honor To Us All

Let’s get down to business if you want to see Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, or Brave on the big screen next month.

Someone at AMC must have picked up on the misery inextricably sewn into 2017 and is doing something to combat it — with unsatisfied princesses, overzealous pink gowns, and animal-human love affairs.

Beginning on September 15, the Dream Big, Princess movie marathon will showcase one movie twice a day for an entire week leading all the way into October, Entertainment Weekly reports. We recommend watching all five from the comfort of an air-conditioned theater with reclining chairs, a mixed slushie in your hand and a large popcorn drenched with liquid butter settled between your feet.

If you live in Southern California, the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood has an encore screening of Moana as well as special engagements. (For some of us, that would take a 30.5 hour drive, so we’re probably not going to make it but also not making any promises.)

The showtimes are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. every day, concluding with Brave on October 19.
