Teresa Giudice Net Worth 2017: How Much Is Teresa Worth Right Now?

The Real Housewives of New Jersey are back, and returning with them is Teresa Giudice, infamous drama queen and table-flipper. One of the OG housewives, Giudice never fails to give us headline-worthy news each and every episode. Also returning this season is Giudice’s day one rival—Danielle Staub. We can’t wait to see all the drama play out this October when the New Jersey mean girls are once again reunited. Life hasn’t been all fun and games for Guidice, however, having gone to jail for fraud in January of 2015. Let’s take a minute to break down how Guidice went from Berkeley graduate to convicted felon, with her net worth estimate courtesy of The Richest.

Teresa Giudice’s Estimated Net Worth as of 2017: $11 Million

Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey in 1972, Giudice always had a heart for fashion and family. She attended Berkeley College as a Fashion Marketing and Management Major, before going to work as an associate buyer for Macy’s post graduation. She also reportedly worked at Vogue for an unknown period of time.  She married Joe Giudice in 1999.

Giudice joined the first season of RHONJ premiering on May 12, 2009. The show quickly launched her career, both in television and culinary. In May of 2010, she released her first cookbook, Skinny Italian, which featured many of her family’s passed down recipes. The book became a New York Times Bestseller. Not all went as planned for Giudice and her husband as they filed for bankruptcy in October of 2009.

The new two years proved to be great in Guidice’s favor. While remaining as a main housewive, her side careers began to pick up steadily. Her second cookbook, Fabulicious was released in May 2011, followed by a third,  Fabulicious!: Fast & Fit, in May of 2012. Both became New York Times Bestsellers. She also went on to star in The Celebrity Apprentice, ultimately placing in fifth.

The next few years took a sharp turn for Giudice and her family. In July of 2013, Giudice and husband Joe were charged with fraud, originally pleading not guilty. The following March, after many court battles revolving around Joe’s illegal behavior and actions, the two plead guilty to 41 counts of fraud. Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison while Joe was sentenced to serve 41 months. The couple also had to pay over $400,000 in restitution.

In January of 2015, Giudice began her 12-month sentence. She was released early December that year. Following release, Giudice wrote yet another book, this time a memoir about her time in prison entitled Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again. Once again, a New York Times Bestseller. Fighting to regain her strong family ties, Giudice opened a restaurant with Joe and Melissa Gorga in 2017 named Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza. Throughout all the trials, Giudice remained a main housewive on RHONJ.
