Even though “hipsters don’t exist” according to hipsters, we think hipsters are pretty funny. Sometimes I wear a v-neck and my glasses, and I feel so un-trendily trendy.

This year has been huge for CC Beauty Live, thanks to you all! We’ve done a lot of cool beauty tutorials, and there’s even more awesome stuff heading your way in the new year. We’ve done product reviews and DIYs, and I’ve tested out more face washes than you can imagine.

I think by now we’re all familiar with American Apparel for their wacky clothing or at the very least, their 3/4 naked models and ads that tiptoe on porn. Their ads are usually making headlines for being disgusting, but this company keeps the hipsters clothed.

Most of the girls in my sorority house (myself included) have decorated their rooms in the Christmas spirit even though we’re only here for a little while in December. Christmas decorations are super fun, but I can’t imagine running up my power bill to the point of no return for the sake of lights. However, there are some people that take Christmas light displays very seriously.

News broke earlier this week that James Franco’s “Directing The Actor II” professor, Dr. Jose Angel Santana, is suing NYU after allegedly being fired for giving him a D. Santana claims the bad grade was given because James missed 12 out of 14 classes during the semester and that Franco was given special treatment because of his celebrity status.

Are you all as sick of the Kardashians as we are? I mean, it’s getting to the point where I don’t even want to turn on E! anymore just to avoid them. Well, we aren’t the only ones. Apparently, America is totally over them as well.

This week, Bayer has been under fire with the Food and Drug Administration for its birth control pills Yaz, Yasmin, and Ocella. The pills in this family contain a synthetic hormone called drospirenone, which is being linked to the seventy-five percent increased chance of blood clots.

Earlier this week, Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Vermont was suspended after new members responded to a fifteen question document. A questionnaire sounds harmless enough, right? Wrong. One of the questions was, “If you could rape someone, who would it be?”.

We all know the best part about getting your hair done is the fact that your blowout lasts several days. Okay that and the free scalp massage. But seriously, you always leave the hair salon feeling like you stepped out of a Tresemme commercial.

Beyonce and Jay-Z’s little nugget is going to be super spoiled, and we’re admittedly a bit jealous. Not only is this baby going to be extremely beautiful and talented, but it’s going to have everything. From really high tech toys to plush bedding, baby Bey-Z already has us envious.
