Today, Beyoncé Knowles got a Tumblr. Right now, it’s about 120 photographs of her life (mainly on vacation) but it looks like an ad spread in a magazine. In honor of the debut of her Tumblr entitled “I Am”, we decided to make a list of some reasons why she might be a little bit better than me, you, and everyone else on the planet.

When it comes to new boyfriends, there are a million thoughts and feelings rushing through our heads and hearts. We can’t eat, sleep, talk, breathe, etc. Sometimes falling for a new guy can feel like being drunk. You don’t act like yourself. You may not notice yourself turning into a complete crazy, but I can tell you that your friends will. Do we care that much about what our friends think of our boyfriends?

I have often wondered how different my life would be if you weren’t part of it. I cannot imagine a single event of my life being the same. Every single childhood memory has you attached to it. Like the time that we camped inside and stayed up all night talking about nothing. I was 5, and you were 11. You made me say every swear word you knew and laughed hysterically when they would come out of my little innocent mouth.

Commercials are a part of my childhood. I would sit and watch Nickelodeon for hours and get hypnotized into wanting every single Barbie and Gak product (remember Gak?!). This stuff is way past whips and chains and all that stuff Rihanna likes–this stuff is just plain weird. Some of these toys are just for a party of one which is also super creepy and depressing.

We don’t get very many natural disasters or crazy weather due to our location (though we do get the occasional tornado), so when I saw this video of a woman totally chilling during an earthquake in Japan, I was flabbergasted. This woman literally just holds her kid and remains calm while the ground underneath her and everything around her is shaking and falling.

Safety Not Guaranteed, starring Parks and Rec’s Aubrey Plaza and The New Girl’s Jake Johnson, tells the story of a man looking for a partner to help him travel back in time. He puts an ad in the paper that catches the eye of local journalists who decided to do a little undercover work. I’m super excited to see Aubrey Plaza in a starring role so she can really show her talent.

Last night, Will Ferrel went on Conan and surprised everyone when he came out dressed totally in the character of Ron Burgundy. He played his flute perfectly, did a little witty banter back and forth with Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter, and then announced that Paramount Pictures is in the process of making a sequel to the first Anchorman. That’s right, there’s an Anchorman 2 in our futures!
