A 2007 graduate of Marietta College (Marietta, Ohio) with a BA in Journalism, I've found my writing niche to primarily focus on my travel experiences. (Though, I frequently write on a plethora of other content as well). I have a passion for discovery and painting vivid imagery for my readers and enjoy my ability to captivate others with my words. I consider writing an art- the ability to write being the canvas that I work upon and all the stories I come across are the oil paints that create the vibrancy and magnetism I convey. I've also been published by Graffiti Magazine (graffitiwv.com), The Marietta Times (mariettatimes.com), and Zonder (zonder.com- a travel planning site). I've had photography selected by Schmap travel guides as well. I'm also in the process of starting a private trip planning/ travel consulting service- hand crafting journeys for my clientele- focusing on the most minute details and seeking authenticity for their experiences. I am passionate about The Anti Tourist- an idea solely birthed from a dear friend (and creative equal)- Elizabeth Seward. Her idea is the journalistic version of my Contemporary Pilgrim dream so our ideas mesh well together.
