Awards season is here! The Golden Globes are tonight and the Grammys are less than a month away. Needless to say, we’re totally excited over here. The Grammys are a more casual awards show featuring fierce outfits and stellar performances.

Christina Milian (I had almost forgotten about our favorite “Dip It Low” singer) stepped out in Las Vegas wearing a dress that looks suspiciously like a wetsuit to me — and an unflattering one at that. The dress is by Liza Maria Fernandez. The two colors, thick zipper and high collar leave me with memories of wake boarding and tubing during the summer at the lake house.

The trailer for Friends with Kids came out today and it includes an all-start ensemble cast of hilarious people. Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, and Maya Rudolph alone make me want to buy a ticket right now. Throw in a few people from left field like Adam Scott (hello Parks and Rec people making it big) and Edward Burns and I’m already waiting in line at the theater.

I woke up this morning and thought to myself, “Gosh, it’s been such a long time since I’ve heard about the Kardashians, I wonder what they’re up to. Kinda miss those krazies.” Actually, that’s a complete lie. We know exactly where they are and what they’re doing at all times. And miss them? As if.

Mitt Romney won the New Hampshire primary last night. While other blogs are analyzing Romney’s victory, here are CollegeCandy we’re analyzing something different: Romney’s five sons. Let’s just admit that if we’re going to have the suave Romney in the White House, we want to have a good ranking system in order for their adult children, especially if they are of the male variety.

The Globes, more or less, are the ultimate place for star-gazing and drooling. Additionally, it’s one of those crazy award events that does table seating, not typical auditorium rows, putting all our fave celebs together to wine and dine.

Zoe Saldana is so fierce. I love that she’s kind of taken over Angelina Jolie’s role as the default female badass action star, while still embracing her femininity. Not only that, she seems refreshingly blunt and sincere in interviews. She has a great sense of style as well – she can be daring and sexy on the red carpet, and really relaxed, but still visually striking on the streets.

The checklist of qualities I look for in a guy is very short. He’s gotta be cute, and he’s gotta make me laugh. That’s it. Really. We all know Paul Rudd is both of these things but this video just gave him a few extra points in my book. If you’ve ever tried freestyling (I admit, I have), you’ll understand that it is simultaneously embarrassing and extremely difficult.
