I should be rejoicing that the 80 degree days are extending past labor day. Instead I’m left wishing the leaves would start changing, hoping that my pants can move back to the front of my closet, and even wearing sweaters to try to force the hot weather out. Maybe it’s the overload of pumpkin spice lattes (my new legal drug addiction) but I am lusting after fall this year.

Women have been obsessing over boy bands since the beginning of time. Our moms were in love with The Beatles and we spent our childhoods infatuated with *NSYNC. But what separates the Boybands of the ’90s from other boy bands throughout history is the fact that none of these Boybanders actually played an instrument. They existed solely on harmonies, synchronized dancing, and amazing abs.

Males coerced into furniture shopping can now sit back, relax and munch on hot dogs and potato chips while watching football and playing arcade inspired games. Houston, we might have a problem: this is one big step for mankind everywhere! But, uh, what about the girls?

A&E runs a little show called Intervention. Ever heard of it? If not, let me tell you, it’s as real as it gets; as ugly as it gets; as tear jerking as it gets.

Singing is a sensitive topic, and very few of us can really do it. Once, my best friends attempted to ban me from singing in the car… rude. The issue is that some people use their fame to jumpstart a singing career that should never have even popped into their pretty little heads.

With millions of gossip blogs and never ending tabloids, there are a lot of haters right now. Celebrities get terrible reputations and go from girl crush to enemy in the matter of a few tweets. Sometimes they deserve their fall from grace, but there are some people I just can’t help but stick by, despite all of my better instincts.

When I got to the section on guys and relationships, I was pleasantly surprised by the article on what to say in tricky hookup situations. It was a great piece on openly communicating while still being sensitive and thoughtful. Very impressive. Naturally, it was followed by an article “decoding” guys. Always, always mockable.

Okay so pretty much everything we did when we were kids was an attempt to piss our parents off. Hey, isn’t that our duty as their children? Parents need a little excitement in their lives, and until we graduated high school, we were there to provide it. And isn’t it so fun now to look and laugh at how absolutely obnoxious we were!

Alright, this one’s going to piss off some, make others chuckle, and probably piss off some more. But bottom line, no one’s 100% honest all of the time and there’s no question we boys have made an omission or two with you…but then you most certainly have with us, too!
