You may have guessed from the title that I have a short boyfriend. He doesn’t like to be called “short,” but it can’t be denied—at 5’8”, he’s exactly the same height I am, and if I wear heels with even a little bit of height, he suddenly becomes a dwarf.

Two people meet online somehow. They exchange contact info, and they fall into a loop of talking to each other all day and night via texts, IMs, and/or phone calls. Maybe they end up meeting in real life, but the vast majority of their communication is virtual.

Every Most relationships start with one thing: Attraction. Attraction that often causes rose colored glasses and a delightful honeymoon phase.

Remember that scene from ‘The Sweetest Thing’ when Christina is dreaming about receiving oral sex every hour on the hour while eating mountains of ice cream void of any calories?

Fast forward one week and I don’t hear from him at all. I text him a few times and don’t hear back. I asked him to talk and when he called me he got very defensive.

The title pretty much says it all, doesn’t it? I mean, this isn’t exactly rocket science, this is common f*cking sense.

I’ve been on a bunch of job interviews. I’ve been interviewed by one person, a panel of three, in multiple cities, for varying sizes of companies, and for everything from retail to administrative to creative positions.

When you meet a guy who loves his mama, you’re immediately attracted. Because she definitely raised him right, right? For some reason, I always associate a guy who has a good relationship with his mother with a guy who can have a good relationship with any woman.

For this post, I decided to break it down by questions I’ve come across while toying around with the OK Cupid site and meeting (yup, I said meeting) men from this site.
