Every couple has a list of different things they will do and absolutely-under-no-circumstances won’t do in public. For some the list for don’t is pretty long, i.e. we will not make out in the middle of a dinner at the White House. For others the list for don’t is pretty short, i.e. we won’t have sex on the table in the middle of a dinner at the white house.

The following story is written by University of Alabama student and CollegeCandy beauty blogger, Caitlin, who experienced last week’s devastating tornado from the safety of her apartment bathroom.

You work out. You eat healthy foods (most of the time). You choose fro yo over ice cream, and 100 calorie packs over double fudge brownies. You drink lots of water, get lots of sleep. You do everything you’re supposed to do to live a healthy life and you’re still gaining weight.

In today’s society, it’s hard to be perfect when outlandish images of flawlessness are everywhere. Singers, actresses and even our favorite bloggers conveniently have everything that we don’t. So do our cousins, classmates and the girls in our innermost circles. Instead of embracing our flaws and appreciating the redeeming qualities we have, we compare and contrast ourselves with anyone who’s “better.”

If you’re like me, there’s something mystifying and alluring about online shopping. Not only do you get to stay in your pjs (or, uh, undies), but you can visit multiple stores with just a few clicks of the mouse. And you don’t have to wait in long lines. Or blow a full day’s worth of calories on a Cinnabon that you can’t deny after you smell it’s cinnamony goodness from 6 stores away.

There are three things I need for a good party night: a few shots of cheap vodka, a cute outfit and the perfect party companions. And I’ve done a good job rounding up the three, if I do say so myself. Like most college girls, I’ve perfected the art of the party and have plenty of Facebook photos to prove it.

Even the guys you crush on get guy crushes. It’s just a different kind of crushing. We don’t necessarily want to be with them, we mostly want to be them. Just a preference. A lot of us can admit when a guy’s hot. We can feel the animal magnetism. We can be charmed by his charisma or attracted by his genius. Same as you.
