I think at this point we’ve all realized that real life sex is VERY different from movie sex. Especially when it comes to porn. So here are a few pointers to help you deal when things get a little less magical and a lot more awkward.

When you’ve been sitting for a long time, it’s easy to get sleepy and distracted. So why not get up and do a little quickie workout? Working a little exercise into your study routine will get your blood flowing and help you concentrate. It’s a win-win.

We speakers of English have a great talent for euphemism. I admire that; although our language is comparatively un-poetic, English speakers have nevertheless coined a great deal of terms in order to discuss social taboos. But, even in the post-sexual revolution, post-feminist, post-modern world, I think we are yet to adopt a suitable phrase for ‘having sex’.

Whilst most people don’t love baby Mason like I do (hello, he’s the most well dressed baby to date! Take that Suri!), the idea of another Kardashian and another Disick on this earth makes even the bravest [wo]men sigh in irritation. Well turn that frown upside down. Shockingly, even celebs get cold. Yep, that’s right! Your favorite celebs get cold. They shiver and they chatter their teeth and they sometimes go out of the house with wet hair and regret doing that when their bangs freeze (Okay…maybe that was only me. One time. Lesson learned).

I spent this past summer in New York City, and I met a lot of people. When I told them I went to school in Florida, they acted like I was an alien. I was no longer allowed to complain how hot it was during a HEAT WAVE because “Aren’t you used to the heat? You’re from FLORIDA!” So I’m going to clear up some rumors about going to school in Florida, and then I’m going to go back to lying on the beach.

These shows are 100% guilty pleasures that I would NEVER admit to watching ALL THE TIME. If someone walked in on me watching any of these shows, I would probably pull the whole, “OH THIS OLD SHOW?? I JUST HAVE IT ON FOR BACKGROUND NOISE! I SWEAR!”

For girls in sororities, your letters are a source of pride. They represent your house and your sisterhood. I am a firm believer in respecting one’s letters because I wouldn’t want to embarrass my house in any way. There are certain rules like that you shouldn’t drink while wearing your letters, whether they’re on your clothing or printed on your cup. I personally don’t want the ghosts of my founders haunting me because I made a ridiculous choice in where I put my letters.

I finally decided to put my efforts into finding unknown, musically talented people (aka, NOT me). Here’s a little taste of who I’ve found. (Oh, and p.s., they’re all college age-d. Hello jealousy.) Whether you love awesome mixes of the newest stuff, or something off the beaten path, you’re going to enjoy at least some of the following artists…

It’s sometimes fun if you know there’s going to be someone you like there or if you just updated your iPod. But most of the time it’s a struggle just to change into your workout clothes. Not only do you have to worry about getting bored within five minutes, you also have to worry about the people you’ll run into and deal with at the gym.
