8 Under $20: Rose Gold

One of the hottest jewelry trends right now is rose gold, a pretty pink-tinted shade of gold. I love its feminine and romantic feel, and it looks amazing when paired with yellow gold and white gold, silver or gunmetal! What’s more, although white gold looks better on cool skin tones and yellow gold looks better on warmer skin tones, rose gold flatters every skin tone! And it pairs perfectly with fall’s clothing shades like brown, gray and dark blue, so now is the perfect time to add it to your wardrobe! Check out these amazing rose-gold-colored accessories which won’t break the bank at only $20 or less each! Read More »

History always repeats itself, and this is especially true in the fashion world! While you may be able to score some great vintage pieces by rummaging through your mom’s closet, there are also tons of 70s-inspired fashions available at almost every store — and at great prices! 8 Under $20: Cobalt Blue

One of the most popular colors of this summer was cobalt blue, a cool, deep shade that conjures up images of the ocean. Now summer may be drawing to a close, but this sapphire-tinted hue is set to be one of the hottest colors for fall as well. Multiple designers had cobalt shoes, dresses, and accessories on their Fall 2012 runways, but you don’t have to be able to afford designer threads to jump on this trend. Clothing racks at the mall are already filled with cobalt blue pieces that you can incorporate into your summer-to-fall wardrobe — here are a few affordable picks for just $20 or less!

8 Under $20: Wood Details

There’s something I’ve always loved about wood details for clothes and accessories. It adds a natural, bohemian feel to any look that is perfect for the summertime. Not only do dark wood details go great with summer brights, but they also pair nicely with the darker and muted shades you see in fall. Plus, I love how wood’s heaviness makes it a statement on its own, so you don’t need many other accessories! And the best thing about wood? It’s inexpensive! All of these pieces are less than $20, making it easy to add wood details into your wardrobe! Read More »

8 Under $20: PacSun

There’s no other store that epitomizes the lazy freedom of long summer days quite like PacSun. Some of you may not have ever stepped foot into a PacSun, simply because it appears from the outside to be targeted solely at the surfer at skater crowd. While that’s partly true, the store actually has a lot more to offer. They have tons of cute accessories and jewelry, and lots of adorable summer basics. And it’s nice on a college girl’s budget: I’ve scored a so many great deals there! Check out this gallery of great $20 and under finds from PacSun that are perfect for summer! Read More »

8 Under $20: Wedges

Wedges: they’ve been around forever, but this year they were an especially big trend for Summer. They’re great because you can easily switch out flat sandals with wedges to instantly dress up your outfit, and they’re more comfortable than regular heels. And what’s more, they look great with everything: jeans and a t-shirt, a cute sundress…even shorts!

While Hollywood celebrities can afford to spend hundreds of dollars on their staple summer wedges, college girls are on a much tighter budget. But I’ve found that there are plenty of great options out there for about the same as a movie ticket! Check out these great finds, each of which is under $20! Read More »
