The following post is courtesy of our uber fashionable friends at CollegeFashion.net. Check ‘em out – they rock our socks off.
As college girls, we’re always looking for tips and tricks that are affordable and time-saving. Between classes, extra curricular activities and our social lives, it’s hard to find the time to always primp and prep ourselves to look fabulous, and things can fall out of place from time to time, especially during a day that seems to last forever.
But with these quick and easy beauty secrets, you’re guaranteed to look beautiful and flawless all the time! Read on for all the info.
1) Bronzer and baby powder are a great way to disguise oily hair.
This trick is one of my favorites, since I am unfortunately one of those girls who loves to play with her hair, and therefore, add more oil to it than it would have on its own. If you’re a brunette, carry around a bronzer compact. If you’re a blonde, carry around a mini baby powder. They’ll temporarily hide your not-so-freshly-washed locks! (You might also want to try one of our favorite dry shampoos.) Read More »

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times – while the holidays are upon us, so is the end of the semester. And this week was a mixed bag of excitement (shopping!) and dread (studying!) for the season.
On the upside, there are definitely several things to look forward to, like our NCAA National Football Championship airline ticket giveaway, and a couple more items on the to-do list before the ball drops on 2009. Of course, if you’re looking for that perfect gift, perhaps a personal DIY project will do just the trick. Getting dolled up a la Twilight stars and pole-dancing for fitness are two of our new fave ways to look hot.
And when it comes to staying warm this season, there’s nothing like a little personal company. Whether you did the dirty with your first serious significant other or it led to a walk of shame, we’re all looking for some body heat to get us through the winter. We discussed the benefits of getting down with the game playa or the honest boy, and the scandalous new phenomenon of “sexting.” Regardless of who, when, or how often you’re hooking up, one thing is for certain: ladies are definitely getting some for themselves these days.
If all of that doesn’t help you through the end of finals, at least take these tips for saving your grades and stick around next week for more CollegeCandy fun!

The next time you find yourself pining for Jessica Alba’s perfectly clear complexion or Mischa Barton’s cellulite-free ass, think again. You’d be shocked (and seriously wigged out) to learn what lengths some of these celebs go to to be beautiful.
For instance? Gwyneth Paltrow uses snake venom skin cream to keep wrinkles away. Creepy! She must have some sssseriously ssssoft ssssskin with that $185 price tag.
Desperate housewife Teri Hatcher bathes in wine. Now this I can understand, seeing as maybe it seeps into her pores and she could potentially get a little tipsy. I’m all about the tipsy!
On the other hand, if she’s using red wine, someone that may accidentally walk in could think they just stumbled upon a seriously gory celebrity crime scene. What a waste of booze though, really. Think of all your sober fans Teri, so greedy!
Halle Berry‘s a huge fan of coffee, not for her daily caffiene fix, but rather for her thighs. Catherine Zeta-Jones crushes strawberries, a supposed natural teeth whitener, into her toothpaste. Breakfast while brushing? I suppose it could work. Read More »
