No worries, there are tips to help you sick folk (and those of you who are just really tired and can’t stand the thought of putting on full makeup for an hour lecture). A few makeup tricks will have you looking less contagious and more flirtatious in no time.

Just try not to vom or cough on anyone or you’ll ruin the illusion.

Spring Break is coming, ladies! That’s right, it’s almost time for over-sized cocktails, flippy-floppies, and glistening college boys. Get excited!

That being said, it’s time to start preparing your beauty arsenal for SB 2010. And there’s a lot to think about. You want to make sure not to bring too much (you don’t want to be “that girl” with a whole separate duffel bag for her beauty supplies), but you also want to bring your cheaper products in case Boozy Suzy turns into a kleptomaniac. And, of course, you have to keep the sun in mind if you want to protect your skin and hair.

I am not a morning person. Never have been, never will be. And it shows on my face in the form of dark circles and tired eyes.

Even though I always want to crawl back into my comfy bed and get more rest, I know that with a touch of the right makeup I can instantly fix that problem. As a girl, I know that no matter how tired I am, I always want to look my best. Therefore, here is a tutorial on how to achieve that bright-eyed, wide-awake look. Even if you received zero hours of sleep, with these steps, nobody will be able to tell!

1. Dab concealer underneath your eyes. Make sure to blend well!

Dark circles under the eyes are probably the most obvious sign of a tired student. By concealing those problem areas, you will be amazed how much more awake you look.

A good concealer will brighten up the undereye area and cover any darkness. I personally love any of Maybelline’s liquid concealers but several of my friends swear by MAC’s Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer as well.

I’ve had many women look at me like I’m crazy when I talk about using highlighters on my face. Obviously I am not coloring on my face with neon yellow highlighters, people! A lot of women don’t know how to use highlighters (or what they are, apparently), but they really are a great asset to have in your beauty arsenal.

I know you don’t want to shell out $24 for Benefit’s High Beam, so in this video I’ll show you an alternative that’s way cheaper and works just as well. Happy highlighting!

It makes me sad when I see pretty girls looking like they just finished a dance recital.  I mean, makeup is supposed to enhance your beauty and look natural, not scare people away. And this couldn’t be more true than with blush. It’s not supposed to be caked on those cheeks – it’s meant to accentuate them and make them subtly stand out.

I’m not really a fan of traditional up-dos. You know, the ones with the spiral curls that are pinned neatly together and sprayed with enough hairspray to destroy the ozone. When I’m buying beauty products the first thing I think about is how hot they will make me. Then I consider if they’ll make me break out and, finally, look at the cost.
