Anne Hathaway stepped out in London last night, sporting a brand new super short haircut. Apparently, the pixie cut is for a role. And that’s a good thing, because Anne doesn’t look to happy about it. In all the photos, she’s clutching her head in a very weird way. So either she’s sprouting a unicorn horn (as guessed by CC Editor Alex), or she’s really not feeling her new ‘do.

According to People, Jason Trawick will not only be Britney Spears’s future husband but will share control over the pop star as co-conservator. Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, is taking legal measures to put Jason in a conservator role. Is it just me or is this a little crazy? I mean, Britney’s been under her father’s supervision since 2008, and she appears to be doing really well.

Maybe she’s doing well because she’s under conservatorship, but isn’t it about time that she regains control of her own life? Yes, she needs the approval of doctors and the court to determine that she can take care of herself. But I feel like it’s a little backwards that once she’s married, her husband will have a say in literally everything she does. I worry about Britney having another breakdown just as much as the next person, and I’d hate to lose the starlet.

However, I think after four years under someone else’s supervision that her situation needs to be reevaluated. I know I’m not a doctor or a judge, but she’s about to get married again. Putting Jason in control of her is just a little strange to me.

We all freak out occasionally. Sometimes our roommates make a huge mess and don’t clean up after themselves, or maybe you’re freaking out because you have an eight-page research paper due tomorrow that you haven’t started (my current crisis). Within reason, freak outs are justified. It’s a way for us to get our anger out when we might literally implode if we don’t. Sometimes, however, people take it a little too far. If you’re a regular person, these extreme freak outs can be overlooked and forgotten. But, if you’re a celebrity, they will forever be remembered.

We all know the story of her shaving her head. Need I say more?

4. Tom Cruise

After proclaiming that he was in love with Katie Holmes, Cruise proceeded to jump on Oprah’s couch. Oprah laughed but she was probably at least a little scared on the inside.

3. Christian Bale

After yelling and swearing violently at his director of photography on the set of Terminator Salvation, Bale later apologized. But, the audio tape of this incident will forever live on.

2. Alec Baldwin

I know he was upset and later apologized, but let me just say if my dad ever freaked out and said anything like this to me, I’d be really scared.

This is the most recent celebrity freak out. The Community star completely bashed the show’s writer in a violently angry voicemail.

News broke earlier today of back-to-back earthquakes in San Francisco. Over the weekend, tornadoes ravaged the Midwestern and Southern regions of the country. And yesterday, nude photos were leaked of Christina Hendricks and Olivia Munn. Wait, huh? Celebrities and natural disasters have nothing in common, you say? Well, currently they’re both taking over the internet and they have more in common than you think.

Just about every celebrity has had some kind of hot mess moment. It would be almost impossible to avoid, with cameras documenting your every move. But some celebs are truly forces of nature. They leave us wondering, how do they do it? How is it even possible? We’ll tell you. Lock your doors, stock up on supplies and head down to the basement. These celebs basically are natural disasters, and they’re coming your way.

I am a total dog lover. I know I’m about to make a lot of cat owners angry, but I think that dogs make the best pets. (I’m also allergic to cats, so maybe I’m unfairly biased.) Dogs are sweet, fun and loyal. To your dog, you’re the center of the universe, which means they’re the best friends you could possibly ask for. And celebrities agree! We saw it with Prince William and Kate Middleton, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick, Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman…now Drew Barrymore is jumping on the bandwagon and getting engaged to her non-famous boyfriend, Will Kopelman. The two reportedly got together right after Drew split with nerdy-cute BF Justin Long and have been dating for the past year. It all begs the question — could normal be the new normal?

While the future Mr. Drew Barrymore isn’t entirely common — he’s the son of the former head of Chanel, after all — his job as an art consultant puts him far from A-List celeb status. Looking at the couple kissing on vacation, hanging out in LA and just generally enjoying each other’s company, it all looks so…normal. Drew’s been married twice before, so I do wonder if she’d take the plunge a third time unless she was really, really sure this relationship is going to work out for the long haul. Perhaps the secret to successful relationships in Hollywood is to find someone who isn’t in the spotlight along with you.
