Every day we’re bombarded with a million different messages about what we are supposed to look like. And tell you what, our not-so-scientific-yet-totally-accurate visual research proves that 99% of girls out there don’t fit the mold. So instead of telling you how to wear your hair, or how much weight to lose, or which one of Heidi Montag’s many surgeries to get, we’re going to celebrate these so-called beauty flaws with beautiful women every single week.
Last week we raised the roof for the A-cup ladies of Hollywood, and this week’s “flaw”? The bushy brow.
Plucking, waxing, and threading your eyebrows is far from an enjoyable process. Some might even go as far as to say it hurts like a bitch is painful. But it’s worth it to many to get that perfectly arched, perfectly thinned out brow. But why? These gorgeous women prove that skipping out on the monthly (or in my case, weekly) upkeep and going for a more natural look is the way to go.
So today let’s celebrate the beautiful celebrities who keep their brows looking bushy and bold. Read More »

Breaking news! Brooke Shields didn’t lose her virginity until she was 22!
Big deal, right? Well, clearly with the absurd amount of publicity surrounding her most recent interview with Health magazine, where this alleged shocking secret was revealed, it is obvious that to many, this is a big deal. But why? If people spent half the time obsessing about literally anything of the slightest bit more importance, our world would have a lot less to worry about.
Having sex for the first time has evolved into one of society’s biggest concerns and issues of controversy. With movies like American Pie, teens have been brainwashed into believing that they’re some freak misfits if they haven’t sealed the deal before graduating high school. All that the media has done is distorted the truth. Just because nowadays some teens are having sex before they freakin’ finish puberty, doesn’t mean that, 1. Everyone is doing that and 2. There is a right or appropriate age to do so. In fact, as a college student, I have met many people, older and younger than me that have held on to their virginity for whatever reason, and it honestly has not changed my opinion about them at all, nor should it!
What kind of society do we live in where waiting until you are in your 20’s to lose your virginity is a bad, a weird, or an abnormal age to do so?
Call me crazy, but I used to think that losing your virginity was a somewhat private and personal matter. Everyone is different and comfortable with sex in his or her own way and should be able to decide if and when they are ready without being judged, questioned, or, in Brooke Shields’ case, considered the latest juiciest gossip. Virgin or not, does it really define who you are as a person?
As a society, we really need to just let go of the whole virginity thing, because at this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if 40-Year-Old Virgin was remade into 20-Year-Old Virgin (starring Jonah Hill, of course).
Last week, as I laughed during an episode of Project Runway for the first time all season, I felt a glimmer of hope that this season may finally be turning around. But as I watched last night’s episode while simultaneously surfing Facebook and talking on AIM cuz I was so damn bored, I came to the realization that last week was a fluke.
This season indeed sucks.
Sure, there are a few moments of hilarity (like when Terri, referring to Suede, said, “I don’t know what he’s packing…balls or vajajay. I don’t need no one sucking on my tit, so, please, man up.”), but this season really doesn’t stack up next to the those of our past.
Last night’s episode was yet another opportunity for Bravo/NBC to promote one of its products. Brooke Shields was the judge and the challenge was for the designers to create an outfit for her character to wear on Lipstick Jungle. Which is an NBC show. NBC owns Bravo.
See how they did that? See how they took one of their bigger shows on the network (Project Runway) and used it to promote one of their dying shows (Lipstick Jungle)? I am surprised they didn’t have to also incorporate some sort of GE product into the ensemble. Read More »

Best. Easy. Nachos. EVAH.
Brooke Shields proves she’s still hotter than most of us will ever be.
You know how Bush is all confident that we’re totally kicking ass over there in Afghanistan? Well…
Sara Silverman is f*&cking Matt Damon. I’m giving her a virtual high-five.
Want your movie to flop? Cast Jessica Alba.
OMG. The writer’s strike may truly be over soon…and hopefully answering my prayers by making sure American Gladiators dies a quick, performance-enhanced death.
How to look at the female voter.
Ryan Gosling can do no wrong. Ever. Seriously.

Please make the eighties comeback stop.
I know, it’s funny to be campy and over the top. But didn’t we all make fun of the eighties the first time around? Now it seems the spandex are unstoppable, patent leather is everywhere, and even the fanny pack has re-invented itself as a bit of “so old it’s new.”
I will say that the leggings, short dress, and boot combo is functional and sort of sexy. I’ll admit it I’ve rocked it.
But every time I walk into a shoe store and see the patent leather shoe, I think to myself, really? I think that was over circa 1990. If I see shoulder pads I might slap somebody. I know that Europeans have been heading towards the eighties trend for some time now.
The last time I was in France (about a year ago) I would see the skinny jeans, with heels and be brought back to the iconic image of Brooke Shields in her Calvins.
As a not-so-skinny girl, (size 12 perfectly normal) the flared jean has done wonders for me. Then suddenly out of nowhere it seemed the skinny jean and/or the spandex was everywhere. Me and my above average ass were not ok with this.
