Sarah Michelle Gellar is finally returning to our TVs in an new CW show this fall. After the most brilliant show to ever grace television Buffy the Vampire Slayer ended, she was in a series of questionable movies (The Grudge, Scooby effing Doo 2), before having a child with Freddie Prinze Jr. and falling off the face of the earth.

Now she’s back, making the promotional rounds, and looking uber phenomenal. What is with these celebrity women who somehow look better after popping out a baby? Lucy Hale is steadily climbing her way up the Hollywood ladder, propelled by the awesomeness that is Pretty Little Liars. It has everything that Gossip Girl used to have – suspense, dark humor, compelling story lines, and high schoolers who are way too attractive. Yes, I am obsessed (and still bitter over the demise of GG, but that’s a whole separate rant).

Kate Moss is ridiculously beautiful, not easy to relate to, and more than a bit troubled…my favorite kind of celebrity. And one of the few celebs whose casual style is perhaps even better than her red carpet looks.  She somehow makes the simplest outfits look totally haute couture and runway ready.

Emma Roberts starred in a lot of my favorite C/D-list projects back in the day (like Unfabulous and Aquamarine – don’t judge me) but this Friday, we’re all going to be able to see her in the highly anticipated fourth installment of the Scream series. I am beyond stoked to see if her horror movie acting chops are equally as awesome as her comedic timing.

In the meantime, I’ve been drooling over her thoroughly fabulous clothes. She has a sleek, edgy, feminine style that she rocks with amazing confidence (or #swag, as Justin Bieber would so eloquently articulate it). Cameron Diaz is usually not one that I look to for style inspiration. I mean, I love her as an actress and I totally respect her long-term commitment to environmental causes (she was going green far before it was the norm). As far as style goes though, I wasn’t exactly putting photos of her red carpet looks onto my inspiration board. Maybe it’s because she is so naturally gorg, and has this ridiculously lithe, statuesque body, she always seemed to go for really simple, unremarkable pieces so as to not detract from, well, her.

But perhaps the emergence of another blonde Amazonian goddess onto the scene has inspired Cameron to embrace her inner fashionista, because lately, she has been totally stepping up her game, going for a effortlessly sophisticated aesthetic that I loooove. Read More »

Kelly Osbourne’s career is a total mystery to me.

So, her rock star father gets an MTV reality show where she gets to be a bratty, gothy, embarrassing teenager in front of millions of people, falls into oblivion after the show is cancelled, stays there for a few years, loses weight, learns how to apply makeup, goes on Dancing with the Stars…and is suddenly a red carpet staple?

Um…what? I’m baffled.

Whitney Port is definitely my favorite blonde fashionista to come from The Hills (sorry, LC!) I’ve always admired her mix of boho, preppy, vintage, and contemporary pieces. She’s trendy, but still very much true to herself. Her looks are always fresh, never seem too contrived, and could easily be worn by an ordinary college girl.
