While I do not have the $1,200 plus sales tax it would take to bring this bag home with me, I would do just about anything to get my paws on this new bag from Coach.

It has all the elements that make a Coach bag: the buttery leather, the quality construction, and the design that just screams classy. Only it’s better. There is no cheesy “C” print screaming “I BOUGHT THIS AT COACH!” and it is absolutely chic. This is the kind of bag that makes a statement. Hell, this is the kind of bag that makes an outfit. I could leave the house in jeans and a wife beater and look instantly glamorous by throwing this over my shoulder. In fact, maybe I should just sell everything else I own to get it. I don’t need 14 pairs of jeans anyway…

Ugh. I feel the same way about this tote that I do about Jason Segal: I would cut a bitch just to get it. Sigh.

Finals week drained me of a lot – my last pint of Cherry Garcia, my final cup of Folger’s, my sanity – plus the extra cash I had stashed in my wallet all semester. Cash that was supposed to help buy gifts for well, everybody, on my holiday gift list.

It reminds me of my junior high days when my BFFs would bring over extra clothes for me to model and “borrow.” We all knew that “borrowing,” however, actually meant my friend would never see her A&F tee again. Thanksgiving was pretty awesome, wasn’t it? Lots of food, lots of family and lots of time to do nothing but watch reality TV show marathons and eat homemade desserts. Then you come back to school and it takes only a moment to realize that the comforts of Thanksgiving break are long gone.

Finals are coming.

So now instead of laying low and relishing in the sweetness of chocolate-y desserts, you are spending every waking moment in the library surrounded by books, highlighters, a laptop and hundreds of other stressed out students. You are starving, but the damn library won’t let you bring in snacks and you are far too busy to leave. You have to pee, but there is just no time for it! That paper isn’t going to write itself!
