It was just December that Russell Brand filed for divorce, but TMZ reports that Katy Perry is already flaunting her new beau Robert Ackroyd, guitar player for Florence and The Machine. The pair wasn’t afraid to get intimate at Coachella this weekend, and Katy was all smiles. Looks like she’s moving on, and we’re curious to discover if she and Ackroyd are the real deal, or if he is merely a rebound. See the photos here!

In case you haven’t heard, the folks at Coachella brought Tupac back over the weekend. They had a massive seance and raised him from the dead. Just kidding! They made a hologram that looked really, impressively real. Right down to the incredibly well-defined abs.
I don’t know how I feel about this. On the one hand, it’s really, really cool. It looks so real (see the video below)!! But it’s also creepy, because, well… Tupac is dead. But if this is the new thing, I’ve got a long list of performers that I’d love to see raised from the dead. Michael Jackson. Whitney Houston. MJ and Whitney together. Heck, I want all my old faves. Etta James, Billie Holliday, the Beatles… I could go on. But CC Editor Alex points out that it could get weird if these dead-people concerts become a thing. Where do we draw the line?
Of course, this whole discussion has spawned an excellent Twitter trend. It’s good to know that we can always count on Twitter to tackle the great technological debates of our time. Check out the video of the Tupac hologram, and then take a look at the best of #MeAndMyHologram. Read More »

Coachella kicked off this year with an epic first weekend. The music festival is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. It used to be a three-day event, but Goldenvoice decided to hold it over two weekends from 2012 on. Coachella started in 1999 a few months after Woodstock while there was a ban for on-site camping that remained in effect until 2002. Since the ban was lifted, Coachella has massively grown every year featuring headliners such as Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Jay-Z, and more. It’s become a staple event for celebrities, meaning it’s a goldmine for celeb candids and boho fashion inspiration.
We certainly wish we could be there. Maybe looking at these pictures will make you feel like you are! Read More »

It’s that time of the year again, folks! Music festival season is upon us. I, for one, cannot wait to go to Lollapalooza in my hometown of Chicago this summer, but for those of you who are on the west coast, Coachella is already right around the corner! With big name acts like Radiohead, The Black Keys and Dr. Dre, there is reason enough to buy a three day pass.
The main acts are definitely a reason why I go to music festivals, but one of my favorite things about Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and tons of other great music festivals all over the country is the opportunity to hear bands I’ve never heard of before or don’t know a lot about. There are a ton of artists playing at Coachella this weekend that I can almost guarantee will be huge by this time next year. From electronic dupstep to indie rock to hip-hop, there are more than a few amazing lesser-known acts that will definitely rock this weekend at Coachella. Read More »
