You’ll need…
- One or two stalks of lemongrass
- One bottle of Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- 2 ounces of coconut milk
- 1/4 ounce of fresh lime juice
Instructions…
Cut the lemongrass stalks into 2-inch segments. Take each 2-inch section, lay knife flat on top, and smash it to release the oils. Drop all of them into the neck of a bottle of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Leave the lemongrass in for a week and give it a shake every day, tasting after the fourth day for desired strength.
Once the mixture has infused after the designated time period, mix2 oz Tito’s lemongrass infused vodka, 2 oz coconut milk and quarter ounce of fresh lime juice together in a martini shaker. Shake and serve up in martini glass and grate some lime zest on top.

4th of July weekend is almost here! Can I get a woot woot? Anyone? No?
Well, you will be woot-wooting when you know how much easier I am about to make your life. Surely you are going to a BBQ of some sort this weekend and as if figuring out your outfit isn’t hard enough (something that says, ‘yeah I’m patriotic’ but doesn’t look like it came from your dad’s closet) you also have to figure out what to make for your friend’s/aunt’s/brother’s best friend’s girlfriend’s BBQ. You want to look like you tried (showing up with a bag of Tostitos and salsa, albeit tempting, is not on your radar) but you are NO Paula Deen.
Hell, you’re not even Rachael Ray.
Well, thank god you know about this article. Drinks and desserts, my friends. Drinks and desserts. These are the crowd pleasers. The attention getters. And I’ll be damned if I send you to a party and let some other chick’s dish get more attention.
So here you go: two easy to make – but delightful to look at and delicious to eat/drink - 4th of July BBQ potluck showstoppers.
God Bless America. And cake. And vodka. Amen. Read More »

Whether you’re working it at a beach barbecue or a hot club, a cool drink in your hand is a necessity. There are the old standby’s like Jack & Coke, cranberry & vodka, and Corona with lime (oh, so many memories…er…lack of memories) that are guaranteed to get you through the evening. But why just “get through the evening” when you can sail through on the wings of something delicious and interesting?
Say you’re at a hip lounge in some downtown area. A cute guy catches your eye and walks up to join you at the bar. He asks you what you’re drinking. Do you want to reply with something he’s heard a hundred times before (“Uh, Miller Lite?”) or something that will get the conversation (and maybe something else) started with a bang?
After much deliberation and research (and some taste-testing), we have come up with a list of the most fun cocktails for the long, hot summer ahead. Go ahead, have one of these and let your glass sweat it out along with the poor guy you’re about to attack on the dance floor. Just click on the image to get the delicious deets. Read More »

So welcome to the world of sophisticated drunkery.
