It’s way too easy to get into a make-up rut. You’re running late. You don’t feel like wasting your money on something you’re unsure of. You’re comfortable. There are a million and seventeen reasons not to change a look you’ve perfected. But everyone needs to shake up their make-up bag every once in a while!
One sure fire way to change your look without jumping off of a make-up cliff is by going with a classic look. It’s worked for thousands of other women, so you’ll look fabulous too. No nerves necessary. Right now, the retro glam look isn’t so retro anymore. It’s everywhere in 2012. Who doesn’t want to be described as “glamourous,” because I know I do! Our friends at College Fashion give you the easiest tutorial ever to get the look, including what products to buy. If it were any simpler, they would have to come to your house/dorm/apartment and do it for you!

Spring gives way to summer and with it comes beautiful weather in its prime for day drinking. Everyone knows the secret to making it out at night after a day of drinking is to power through and NOT take a nap. That means you have to have an outfit that easily transitions from day to night. The girls at CollegeFashion have this down to a science. Get the look here and party all weekend!

If I had a dime for every time I hit the snooze button in the morning, I would be a millionaire. I press it at least once every morning just to trick my body into thinking that the extra five minutes of sleep will help me get through the day a little easier. While the snooze button is a gift at times, it can also be a huge curse. The more you snooze, the less time you’re going to have to get ready. Suddenly we find ourselves rushing around the house with a toothbrush in our mouth and curlers in our hair, trying to eat breakfast and let the dog out.
We then show up to work or class with a white shirt and black bra, striped underwear with white pants, mismatched socks, messy hair, and a bad attitude. Until recently, I thought it was near impossible to still pull off a cute look that looks effortless when in a rush. Thanks to College Fashion’s recent post, all that has changed!
Every and every one of these looks is absolutely adorable. From jean jackets to cardigans, there are tons of ways to spruce up any outfit and make it look like you had a personal stylist pick our your look. Check out these four outfits that are bound to make you the most stylish fashionista in the office or the classroom.

If I told you the number of times I have attempted “the perfect red lip,” you’d be surprised that I still have not figured it out. Somehow I always end up smudging it by the end of the night, leaving me with an embarrassing hint of red around my lips that makes it look like I’ve been hardcore making out with some guy (which is not what happened!).
As it turns out, this was all just a result of me not knowing how to correctly apply lipstick. I always thought it was as simple as swiping on a coat of whatever color I chose. Nope! There are several steps that come before the actual application of the lipstick!
Our friends at College Candy made a really great tutorial showing how to get that perfect red lip. They also say you can use this same technique with any color lipstick so feel free to experiment!
Head on over to College Fashion to see how to get the “perfect red lip”!

With Mad Men exponentially gaining popularity, it’s no question why fashion of the 50s and 60s is making a comeback. We’re seeing feminine silhouettes and polka dots making their way back into our closets. With this era of fashion comes the pin-up girl look: high shorts, cardigans, wedges. Flirty, but not too sexy, is definitely how I would describe this look.
If you told me to create a pin-up girl, 60s-inspired outfit, I would have no idea what to wear. One of the fraternities on campus recently had a Mad Men party and it took me a solid two hours to perfect my ensemble. Here is where College Fashion comes in! Our friends at College Fashion have created three super cute, pin-up girl-inspired looks to make your lives a little easier. They even have an adorable beach ensemble, polka dot bikini and all!

If you’re anything like me, you’re looking in your bathroom cabinet right now and realizing that everything in there is old and outdated — and is that a lotion gift set from 7th grade in the back there? Yes, yes it is and it smells like candy canes and puke. It’s time for a major beauty arsenal update and what better way to do it than with a beauty blogger’s advice. CollegeFashion put together a list of the 10 beauty products you need to buy today. Check it out and let us know what’s missing.

Saturday is (finally) here again and you’re alternating between opening your fridge and opening your closet. Fridge looks okay. That orange juice isn’t that old and it will mix okay with that razz vodka you have cooling in the freezer. But your closet, that’s not so okay. You’ve worn everything in there at least 6 times and you’re pretty sure that you’ve been photographed in all them. So what are you going to do? Raid your roommate’s closet? No, her stuff is as stale as yours. Nope, you’re going to take a quick trip to the mall and put together one of these kickass outfits. The best part? CollegeFashion put together outfits that are all under $100. Score.

Judging by my frostbitten fingers and my long underwear (just kidding…kind of…no just kidding), winter is officially here and I’m officially freezing. Oh and officially ugly. Well not ugly. But not attractive. I’m wearing 17 layers a day. When I’m not dealing with hat hair, I’m dealing with salt stained boots leftover from freshman year. I’m in major need of a winter makeover and that’s why I was so excited to see this CollegeFashion article on stylish winter coats under $100. They’re not super practical for freezing weather, but definitely cute for a night out.

The senior year of college is an emotional roller coaster that you can’t get off of until you cross the stage at graduation. (Then you enter another ride called life and I just haven’t been on that ride long enough to give you the appropriate theme park metaphor…my apologies.) As much as you love your friends and your school and your classes, you’re also freaking out about what you want to do after college and if what you want to do is right. And if you’re anything like me, you’re probably suffering from a killer case of the “what-ifs”.
What if I go to grad school?
What if I move to NYC without a job?
What if my boyfriend breaks up with me?
The what-ifs are never-ending and you’ll find them creeping up during class, while you’re at happy hour and even while you’re hooking up. It’s a nasty sickness that’s hard to cure. Luckily CollegeFashion has a handy dandy guide to figuring it all out. Check it out here!
