The Brazilian based godmother of the flip-flop industry, Havaianas, is preparing to launch their 2011 fall shoe collection, The Soul Collection. I browsed their look book for the fall season and the company has definitely worked hard to create a line that combines their original design as well as the hottest trends this season.
Relying on the comfy marshmallow sole to keep feet and toes happy all day long, the exterior design of the shoe changes drastically as you move from style to style. Each style showcases a different color aesthetic: color blocking, blending and canvas, as well as Jute fibers that embody the spirit of the Amazonian culture in Brazil.
No matter which style catches your eye, each and every Havaianas shoe is created around the iconic marshmallow sole, which is made to feel like you’re wearing your flip-flops year round! While it sounds too good to be true (uh, who doesn’t want to wear flip-flops all year?) it’s not; traditional Havaianas pricing rages anywhere between $38 to $70 dollars. Read More »

The internet provides us ladies with a vast array of possibilities. It allows us to catch up on our favorite television shows, Google important questions we can’t get out of our head, and Facebook stalk out ex-boyfriends all from the comfort of our bed. To put it simply; it’s fabulous. But probably the most fabulous thing about the internet is the unlimited shopping. It’s a mall that never closes.
So many ways to find the perfect pair of boots! Sites created just to help you find the best necklace! Blogs determined to make you trendy!
I’m a bit of an expert in this whole online shopping area, so in an effort to share my wisdom with you I’ve listed my top five shopping sites. You’re welcome.
1. Lulus.com. Because these are designers you won’t know. These are pieces you won’t have seen before. Lulu’s features designers from all around the world and only snags a few of each piece. So if you want an item no one else will be wearing, this is where you should be shopping. And if you really want a super unique piece, check out their vintage collection. They’ve got it all from jumpsuits to bell bottoms — at prices that won’t break the bank.
The best part? The atmosphere of the entire website. It’s warm and welcoming and so girly you just can’t help but giggle. From the awesome names of their ensembles to the cute descriptions that accompany them, Lulu’s feels like more than just a shopping site; it’s a shopping experience. And in my opinion, it’s one no girl should go without.

Something from Anthropologie is always on my wish list (okay, maybe more like five or six things), but I decided a long time ago that a column based solely on their merchandise would be a tad boring, especially for those of you that aren’t obsessed with their girly-vintage-hippie chic vibe.
So in order for an Anthropologie item to make it to the top of the wish list for the week, it has to be something special. And that is exactly what the Splatter Sneakers are.
Amazingly special…and to-die-for.
I love my Converse. I could wear them every day with every outfit. Hell, they’re so worn in I could sleep in them.
But obviously a plain sneaker gets old, and I often sigh a huff of sadness knowing that I have to leave them in my closet for the jeweled flats that will only leave me with multiple blisters. Read More »

So winter is almost done and over with. Yay!
But we’ve still got a few more weeks of nasty weather ahead. Boo.
Even though we’ll start breaking out the pastels and cute shoes soon (soon being a relative term, as I personally refuse to wear pastels until it’s above 75 degrees), there will still be a host of rainy days and foul weather between now and “running through a field of flowers” weather. And, let’s be honest for a second; warm weather often means a boring desk job, during which time you will need plenty of things to do to pass the time.
So what does one do when they can‘t get out and play? Turn to the internet, of course! Here’s a quick list of ten sites to get you through the end of winter and beyond! Read More »
