CC Editor Alex and I have come to a conclusion: pets can totally tell when they’ve been given awful haircuts. This vet even thinks that dogs can get embarrassed. But seeing as they don’t have opposable thumbs, there’s not much they can do about it. It’s not fair, people! Have a little respect for your pets, and let them strut around the park in dignity. For us ladies, having generally long hair is a pain in the summer months, especially those of us (not so) blessed with the curls. Step outside for just a moment and that coif goes from fresh to ginormously frizzy. You could pull it into a pony tail and hold down the front with an over-sized headband, but you don’t want to spend the summer looking like you just left the gym. If only there were a cuter alternative…

There is, and in this video I’ll show you exactly how to do it so you can be frizz free, cool and still look hot. Best part? No washing required! I swear, it’s a gift from God.

That horse has got a face only a mother could love. Well, a mother and six-year-old Maddison Biddlecombe, who saved this poor little guy (deemed “lethally ugly”) from a date in pony heaven.  Diego suffers from Wry Nose Syndrome, which hinders his ability to eat grass and win hearts.  Well, most hearts.  Maddison, who fell in love with his ugly mug, says,”Diego is my best friend and I don’t care what he looks like, to me his face makes him special. He’s so lovely.”

You hear that? It’s the sound of my heart melting faster than seeing Jake Gyllenhaal jogging without a shirt, or Christian reuniting with his dads.

Sigh. I just want to reach into my computer and give those two a great, big hug. In slow motion. While Aerosmith’s, “I Don’t Want To Miss a Thing” plays in the background.

I’ve known Meagan since elementary school, and she’s always been one of the happiest people I know (she’s a cheerleader so she has to be, I guess). Her clothing choices are always full of color and spunk, and she is the definition of cute: a tiny body with a big personality that shines through her outfits. Casual and comfortable, but definitely cute. Most days you’ll see me in a nice top with jeans and flats. I’m very down to earth, not overly girly with lots of make-up or anything dramatic. Just comfy and cute.

Nordstrom – they have everything you need from outerwear to underwear.

I don’t idolize a celebrity or a specific designer or anything. I’m influenced the most by my friends, and usually I just wear what’s most comfortable. For me fashion isn’t about looking your best, it’s about feeling your best.
