Instead of freezing over the holidays, it looks like most celebs opted for tropical vacations. Luckily for us, every single one of them decided to take a ride on a jet ski. I’ve been obsessed Eva Longoria ever since the very first episode of Desperate Housewives. In addition to her beauty, her comedic timing is impeccable, and she’s always seemed really down to earth and like a total delight to be around (my friends who have run into her in Texas have confirmed this!). She has a low-key style that is sophisticated and chic, with subtle trendy elements popping up occasionally.

I love the “whiteout” look. It’s simple, but still very striking. A white blazer is the perfect late summer layering piece to add another dimension to any ensemble. In this instance, you can use it to dress up a plain white tank top. White shorts are sexy, while still being casual and functional. White bangles are a cute addition to this outfit, and you could throw in a separate color to add some flair. To break the monotony of the outfit, Eva went for some cobalt sandals, which is an interesting color choice, but still appropriate for summer (totally reminiscent of ocean water).

What I love most about this outfit is that every piece is versatile, and could easily be worn a million different ways, but this combination is relaxed, sophisticated, and effortlessly stylish.

I’ll admit it, I’m (extremely) jealous of the Hollywood A-Listers’ lives. They have perfect bodies, perfect teeth, skin, boyfriends/girlfriends, houses and careers! Not to mention the loads of money they have from all of their hit movies/TV shows/albums/random endorsements (Proactive, anyone?). They get to live in exotic places, travel to even more exotic places, and never have to wear anything twice. Plus, they have people waiting on them hand and foot. Come on, just once I’d love to pass off doing my laundry to someone else.

But I’m beginning to see that maybe their lives aren’t total perfection. Yes, like Us Weekly tells us every Wednesday, stars really are just like us, and that means that they can have rough weeks too. In fact, their bad weeks make my “OMG, I have 3 tests and Gossip Girl isn’t on and I just tore my Sevens when I was doing my post-laundry lunges!” week seem like a walk in the park.

We all know how quickly things happen in Hollywood, and this week is no exception. One day you’re happily married, the next day your husband is sexting other women. We all know how that is, right?

Large Movie Theater Popcorn With Extra Butter

1. Eva Longoria has filed for divorce from husband Tony Parker.  This surprising news came out after several days of her publicists saying the rumors were false, but Eva tweeted the news herself.  Apparently, Tony was sending inappropriate texts to his former teammate’s wife! Yikes, that’s a major no-no.  Sad news, but I’m pretty sure Eva will have someone new and better soon enough.  Who the heck would cheat on her?!  She can wear a jacket without pants for goodness sakes!

2. This.is.bananas: Rachel Zoe is preggers!  The fabulous fashionista has finally admitted she’s pregnant.  We’ve been speculating for the past few months, and now we know for sure!  Rachel tweeted that she and hubby Rodger are “beyond excited.”  Congrats!!  I bet this baby will have the most fantastic outfits and beat out Suri for best dressed kid.

3. Teen Mom, Amber Portwood, has been charged with two counts of felony and a misdemeanor for domestic violence against baby daddy, Gary Shirley.  Amber has responded saying the reports are false and without proof that Leah was there, she can’t be charged for a felony.  MTV has handed over all footage to the authorities in cooperation.  If convicted, Amber faces a $10,000 fine and up to three years in jail.

4. Famous Hollywood publicist, Ronni Chasen, was murdered this week. This is such a strange and sad incident, and investigators are baffled.  Ronni was driving home after attending the “Burlesque” premiere and was shot in the chest five times before crashing into a pole.  She was brought to Cedars-Sinai where she was pronounced dead.  So sad, our thoughts are with her family and friends.

5. Former American Idol, Chris Daughtry and his wife Deanna had twins!  The couple had fraternal twins, Adalynn Rose and Noah James, through a surrogate.  Congrats, you two! Deanna already has a 13-year-old and 11-year-old from a previous marriage.

1. Mischa Barton has a reality show?  Sadly, this is true.  The starlet wants to be portrayed in a more positive light, so what better way to do that than to have your own show. Sigh. We just want to remember her as Marissa Cooper.

2. Toy Story 3 is gunning for Best Picture at the Academy Awards!  While there’s a separate category for animated pictures, the Pixar team figures, why not? No animated film has ever won for Best Picture, but it looks like Toy Story 3 definitely has a shot.

3. Paranormal Activity 3 is coming next Halloween.  No! Stop it, we don’t need anymore of these scary movies. More Pixar, please!

4. Get excited: Flava Flav is launching is own lines of flavored vodka and fried chicken! Yeah boii!!!

5. Matthew Morrison is so hot I can’t stand it! [Editor Note: neither can we...more topless vaporubs please]

Last week was kind of dull, and this week isn’t much better I’m sorry to say. Personally, I was okay with another quiet week since it’s midterm time, and I got the chance to keep up with my studies and happy hour specials. Knowing those crazy celebrities, the shizz will all hit the fan next week at the same time.

1. Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s brother, “Burning Dan” Gordon-Levitt, passed away this week at the age of 36. He taught what is known as flow arts, which is a combination of dance, yoga, meditation, and preforming arts. Dan even started a school in Los Angeles for flow arts. The cause of death is still not known. This is so sad and our thoughts are with his friends and family.

2. Juliette Lewis’ car was totalled in a hit-and-run accident this week! She was hospitalized, and thankfully, she’s okay and was released. Police found a suspect car and impounded it. No more information has been released. We’re glad Juliette is alright!

3. The supposed other woman in the Ashton Kutcher scandal claims him and Demi have an open marriage! She said that Demi was mad because she wasn’t involved. According to Brittney Jones, Ashton can sleep with other women as long as it’s a threesome with Demi. Um, what? Sounds like crazy talk to me.

4. Everyone knows the pop tart, Justin Bieber. But do you know the man, Justin Bieber? There is a 35-year-old Florida man whose real name is Justin Bieber, he’s been bombarded with phone calls and fan mail. He even got kicked off Facebook for using a fake name. Poor guy!

5. The Glee cast topped the Beatles record for most charted songs for a group! The Beatles held the record at 71 songs, but those Gleeks have bumped them into second place with 75 songs and counting! The cast has sold nearly three million albums, and their fabulousness continues every week. Keep it up Gleeks!

1. Wilmer Valderrama, aka Fez, will star in a comedy for ABC that includes a “musical component”. Hmm, interesting!

2. Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent? Maybe, maybe not. The funny lady denied claims that she’s dating Fiddy, but sources saw them canoodling this week. We shall see!

3. Eva Longoria is set to host the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid on November 7th! Awesome!

4. Mark Zuckerberg took his Facebook staff to see The Social Network! Ha!

If any of you have watched Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches on The Travel Channel, you have without a doubt seen some pretty crazy swimwear. Each episode, Bridget, (who generally looks perfect in everything, even though she says that her “stomach should be firmer”) wears multiple swimsuits and cute cover-ups that make you wish it were summer. And that your body was bikini ready.

Naturally, a show about beaches hosted by a former Playboy Bunny has to feature totally adorable bikinis, and Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches does not disappoint!  Just look at the suit she wore in Croatia or in Jamaica or Turks and Caicios!  It’s clear that Bridget (or the show’s stylist) has great taste and killer style.

A style that I want to emulate.

If you’ve got some a lot of summer cash to spend and want to get a really fabulous bikini, look no further than Beach Bunny Swimwear, who provides many of the bikinis for Bridget’s show. My personal favorite is the Lady Lace bikini in aqua and ivory. The color combination is perfect and will look great with a tan, and the bottoms feature a thick lace band–like Hanky Pankys! Except, you know, with a back. And not a thong.

But I digress. This lace band is super flattering as it won’t cut into your sides giving you the dreaded muffin top! And it looks like lingerie, which is the answer to all those days spent in front of the mirror wishing you could wear that perfect bra as a bathing suit top.

Beach Bunny was actually inspired by couture lingerie, and was featured in last year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition (which means – bonus! – the boys will love it too!). And Bridget isn’t the line’s only celebrity fan, either–Eva Longoria, Mariah Carey, and Amanda Bynes all love Beach Bunny, too.

After I get this body in shape and start this year’s bikini hunt, Beach Bunny will definitely be my one and only stop.

The Red Carpet was fantastic. Fitted dresses were all the rage, highlighted by gorgeous accessories. Cocktail rings were everywhere, along with blingin’ brooches, hair clips and necklaces. And let’s not forget the best (and most prevalent) accessory of all: major cleavage.

Below are a few of our favorite (and most trainwreck-y) bits and pieces from the evening. Sure, the overall looks were breathtaking, but it’s all in the details, right? A little bling here, a little ruffle there. And, of course, Drew Barrymore’s hair. I mean, come on, girlfriend. That hair? Is she auditioning for Hairspray?!

Katherine Heigl and Ali Larter for the ladies, and, really, most of the guys looked pretty damn good.

But maybe I’m just super bias and dream of having a dirty foursome with the original men of The Daily Show. So what?

But, of course, beyond the glitz, glamor and fabulous bright colors (and shots of PR reps accidentally looking into cameras) this year, there were major fashion mishaps.

What award show wouldn’t be complete without WTF-were-they-thinking touches, such as unnecessary one-boob dresses or confusing frumpiness or crap hairdo’s from the ’50′s? You’d get one pretty disappointing awards show, if you ask me.

Oh and about that foursome? Make it a five-some.

Beauty is a non-negotiable attribute that one must have in order to fit the credentials of “celebrity”. Lucky for many in Hollywood, high-priced make-up artists trained at top beauty schools are able to transform even the ugliest ducklings into irresistible starlets.

Recently People took a look at an alternative breed of Hollywood royalty: The starlets who don’t need make-up to look absolutely gorgeous. Props to these actresses and performers who are comfortable enough in their own skin to shed the layers of make-up that most celebs don day and night. The girls all look gorgeous and as Jessica Biel mentions, many men prefer women who don’t wear any make up at all! So girls, ditch your compacts and eye lash curlers and join your favorite stars in celebrating natural beauty.
