Anyway, after discovering that last night’s runway challenge was for super pregnant Rebecca Romijn, I sorta freaked out. I mean, she was really pregnant. What if she gave birth right there next to the runway?! I totally agreed with Logan when he said designing maternity clothes wasn’t really his “thing” and that babies scared him.

OMG, babies scare me too!

But I put away my fears because the smiley, lovely Rebecca Romijn from one of my favorite shows, Ugly Betty, was a guest judge. Not everyone could be as awesome a tranny as she can. I felt bad when she delivered her news, though (of the challenge, not the baby). Almost all the designers had never done maternity-wear before and they were lookin’ scared! Things were sure to be a mess. A hot, tranny mess.

I was surprised on the runway, however; most of the gowns were gorgeous! It made me almost reconsider my 5th grade vow-to-self to adopt… almost (I don’t think anything could ever wipe those terrifying birthing images from my mind). I could never tell the difference between Shirin and Irina before but now I know: Irina is cute but Shirin is cuter (which is why she won, of course). Epperson continued to create masterpieces worthy of display at the MET (a pregnant jumpsuit cannot be easy to make…or wear), and Christopher is still manly but sensitive to women’s curves.

Chris, if you ever switch back to your original team, call me.

But for the second week running, for one particular designer there was just no hope at all. This episode might as well have been titled, “Hatin’ On Mitchell.” And with good reason. All jokin’ aside, you know you’re a bad designer when:

A) All the models groan when you’re picked to stay.
B) The model you pick throws her hands up in despair and says she got stuck with the worst designer.
C) Your model says you can’t sew. (Awww SNAP!)

Yet somehow, once again, he sneaks on by and makes it another week.

I don’t know about you, but I WANT MALVIN BACK!!  At least he had a legitimate concept, however kooky it may be. Mother hen with hen is way more creative than skanky schoolgirl with booty almost showing (and last week’s woodland maid frock with booty definitely showing).

If only this season of Project Runway wasn’t taped 18 months ago. I’d totally grab my picket sign and protest outside of FIDM.

Page Six reports that Katee, an 18-year-old student and self-proclaimed virgin at the Fashion Institute of Design in Orange County, California, wrote a letter to Shy Love, the owner of Adult Talent Managers, asking for her first sexual experience to be filmed, using the last name “Holmes” – in honor of the ex-Dawson’s star herself.

Katee explained her brilliant idea by saying, “I know it’s pretty extreme to lose my virginity on camera, but I like the fulfillment and excitement I get from watching porn, so I figured [a movie] was the best place for me to lose it….How many people wished they could relive their first experience, if not to remember it but to learn from it, right?”

Needless to say, the real Katie Holmes is not flattered.

Her people (and by “her people” I mean Tom Cruise) will undoubtedly try to stop the madness before it actually happens. Apparently, that was all Top Gun has his woman on lock-down.

So when Page Six says, “A spokeswoman for Cruise said, ‘Obviously, Tom would support Katie in anything she decides to do about it,’” I don’t believe it.

The thing is, before Katie Holmes was Mrs. Cruise, she tried to break out of her goody-two-shoes persona by going topless in the 2000 movie The Gift. And remember the sex scene that was cut from Katie’s appearance in Thank You For Smoking? That was all his doing. And now, he’s apparently all over the set of her new movie, watching her like a hawk. Creepy.

This is what I think. I think Tom Cruise is insane. I think that the old Katie Holmes we all loved as Joey Potter – overalls, sweaters and all – would have secretly loved this kind of attention before he snagged her up, because it would have given her an even greater sense of edginess and controversy. This phase certainly didn’t last long after meeting Tom. And that phase was hot!

I think Katee Holmes is just a girl crying for attention, because her clothing designs probably suck, and instead of sending her “idol” Katie a nice, tasteful letter explaining how much she enjoys and appreciates her work like a normal fan, she figures, why not take her last name and shoot some porn to celebrate the death of her virginity? Good times.

But Katie is not the first celebrity to have her identity copied in the name of porn. Mariah Carey’s got one. Tyra Banks’ got one.

I actually think this could be a career booster for Katie Holmes, and we all know she could use one. After all, you just ain’t hot if you ain’t got a porn star having sex in your honor.
