Ladies and gentlemen, the long awaited and highly anticipated national pancake day is here. For the seventh consecutive year, IHOP is giving away free pancakes!  Get a short stack of the conglomerate’s signature buttermilk pancakes for absolutely no dinero.  If you have a soul, IHOP is accepting donations for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The International House of Pancakes hopes to raise $2.7 million today, and over the past few years, the organization has raised over $8 million. What tastes better than warm, syrupy goodness topped with touch of charity?

Mardi Gras is officially over tomorrow, so put your shirts down, drop those beads and celebrate the best day ever: Fat Tuesday!  I like to think of every Tuesday (or every day, for that matter) as Fat Tuesday, so I’m more than ready to celebrate.
